Victory Center Opens in Geneva

Saturday, August 1st, 2009

With the favorable political climate and growing momentum in support of Republican ideals, the Republican National Committee and the Illinois Republican Party have united resources to support GOP candidates across the state. Geneva has been selected as one of several sites in Illinois for a Victory Center. On Sunday, June 27, at 11 a.m., Illinois Republican Party Chairman Pat Brady will join gubernatorial candidate Bill Brady at a press conference to announce the opening of the Geneva Center. Following the conference, supporters will join candidates in walking in the Swedish Days Parade.

The Geneva Victory Center, at 415 W. State St., will focus on getting candidates in the 14th Congressional District elected. Over the next several months, GOP supporters will volunteer at the center, calling voters in the area to learn their stands on state and federal issues and their candidate preferences.

Once early voting opens, the Center will switch gears and concentrate on getting voters to the polls.

A core team of volunteers has been assembled to ensure the success of the Center: Julie Brady, Penny Falcon, Leanne Hurley and Gabriela Wyatt. Bryan Kinsey will be on site to run the Center.

To volunteer, call 630-232-7270 or email 14VictoryCenter@gmail.com.
